PSMF Refeeds

From someone who has been overweight for most of their lifes, I'm here to tell you that refeeds are an absolute must, to keep cravings at bay. What I don't agree with is that on your refeed days you must not overindulge and eat normal carbs. I think its important to eat what you want and what you have been craving. Have coke, crisps, biscuits, chocolate, cake etc. Anything you want. You want to be able to stay on your diet for whoever long, so indulge away, it will keep you going through the week in anticipation that if you're good and stick to your diet you can eat what you want. Ask all the skinny people, they are good during the week and kind of eat what they want during the weekend. Remember the 80-20 principle? It's meant to keep you sane!

I like what you said about maintaining our sanity. I think we'd have been long gone if we were to permanently starve ourselves of our guilty pleasures. Like our favorite foods. Burgers, pizzas, ice cream and all that. So it makes total sense to give us days where we can indulge in this.
